There has been increased public dialogue recently regarding the importance, the potential benefits, and the urgency of sharing cyber-related information.
Cyber Information Sharing: Ideas for the White House
AFCEA’s Cyber Committee has been evaluating the topic of cyber information sharing. In the fall of 2014, the Committee assessed the nation’s needs for information sharing. A set of recommendations were developed and provided to the White House team developing the Executive Order on information sharing (Promoting Private Sector Cyber Security Information Sharing [EO 13691]).
